Porridge served |
This recipe is for a single serve. If you are making it for more than one, just multiply the ingredients by the number of serves you would like.

- 1/2 a cup of quinoa flakes
- 1 cup of water
- Maple syrup or honey, to taste
- Your choice of dairy free milk alternatives
- Choice of seasonal berries or other fruits
Method:
- Measure out 1/2 a cup of quinoa flakes and place them in a small saucepan.
- Place 1 cup of water in the saucepan.
- Bring the porridge to the boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer for approximately 2 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed.
- Place porridge in a bowl and add your choice of milk and maple syrup or honey, to taste.
- Serve with seasonal berries or fruit.
Note: If you don't have quinoa flakes this recipe will work exactly the same using rice flakes or rolled oats.
